Terms and Conditions of Sale

Contractual framework for the services offered by the CALYP association (Centre d'Art Lyrique de Paris).

1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "T&C") govern the sale of the services offered by the association CENTRE D'ART LYRIQUE DE PARIS (CALYP) (hereinafter "CALYP") to any person of legal age or represented by a legal guardian (hereinafter "the Client") through the www.calyp.fr website or by any other means of contact.

Any registration or order implies the Client's full and unreserved acceptance of these T&C.

3. Services offered

CALYP offers in particular:

  • Residential singing masterclasses (Brittany)
  • Individual singing lessons and vocal coaching (in person and by videoconference)
  • Talks, lectures and educational workshops
  • Teacher training (Adeline Toniutti method)

Each service is the subject of a detailed description on the website or in a registration file provided to the Client.

4. Prices

The prices of the services are indicated on the dedicated pages of the website or communicated to the Client before any registration. They are expressed in euros.

As CALYP is not subject to VAT (article 293 B du CGI), the prices are net, with no applicable VAT.

CALYP reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; the prices applied are those in force at the time of registration. Customised rates may be offered on a case-by-case basis; such rates are strictly personal and confidential.

5. Registration and payment

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of the signed registration file and of payment (in full or of a deposit depending on the service).

The accepted means of payment are: bank transfer, payment card (via a secure provider) and any other means expressly accepted by CALYP. The bank details are communicated to the Client in the registration file. In the event of a transfer from abroad, exchange and commission fees are borne by the Client.

6. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L.221-18 et suivants du Code de la consommation, the Client has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the registration file to exercise their right of withdrawal, without justification.

This right is exercised by email to contact@adelinetoniutti.com.

After this period, no refund may be made. In the event of the Client's absence, lateness or early departure from the service, no refund is possible.

CALYP reserves the right to cancel or modify the organisational arrangements of any service; the Client will then be informed as soon as possible and refunded in full.

7. Intellectual property

The teaching method known as the "Adeline Toniutti Method" (5 pivot points), as well as all course materials, content, texts, illustrations, videos and recordings produced by CALYP remain the exclusive property of Adeline Toniutti and/or CALYP.

Any reproduction, distribution, public communication or use for commercial purposes, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation, is strictly prohibited and will engage the liability of its author under articles L.335-2 et suivants du Code de la propriété intellectuelle.

Audio or video recording of the lessons is subject to the prior authorisation of the teachers and may only be used in a strictly private context.

8. Liability

The Client is required to take out valid personal civil liability insurance for the duration of the service.

The Client undertakes to comply with CALYP's internal rules, which are provided to them before the start of the service. In the event of damage caused by the Client or by an accompanying person to the equipment, furniture or facilities, the liability and related costs are borne by the Client and/or the accompanying person.

9. Personal data (GDPR)

The personal data collected by CALYP is processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

The Client has a right of access, rectification, objection, portability and erasure of their data, which may be exercised by email to contact@calyp.fr.

10. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint must be sent by email to contact@calyp.fr, indicating "Complaint" in the subject line. A reply is provided within 48 hours.

In accordance with article L.612-1 du Code de la consommation, in the event of a dispute not resolved amicably, the Client may resort free of charge to the consumer mediator whose contact details are available on request.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These T&C are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute not resolved through mediation, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.

12. Amendment of the T&C

CALYP reserves the right to amend these T&C at any time. The applicable T&C are those in force on the date of registration.
