Born in the United States, Levi Gerke is a pianist and baritone. He obtained his bachelor's degree in vocal performance and piano from Central Methodist University, where he studied with Susan Quigley-Duggan (voice) and Melissa Loehnig Simons (piano).

In May 2018 and 2020, he earned his master's and doctoral degrees in piano accompaniment from Florida State University College of Music, respectively. During his studies with Timothy Hoekman and Valerie Trujillo in piano, he also served as assistant vocal coach and accompanist for university students.

He participated in AIMS summer programs in Graz and the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Baden-bei-Wien, both focused on German lieder accompaniment.

Since 2018, he has been part of the artistic team at the Puycelsi Festival in the Tarn region. Currently residing in Lyon, he works independently as an accompanist pianist and vocal coach. For the 2021-22 season, he served as vocal coach and pianist at the Opera Studio of the Opera national du Rhin.
