Ayano Kamei
Pianist and Vocal Coach
Ayano Kamei is a pianist and vocal coach trained and based in Paris. Of Japanese origin, she distinguished herself with her interpretation of Stravinsky's Concerto for Piano and Wind Instruments at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), under the direction of Florent Didier.
Her career has led her to collaborate with leading composers and stage directors. She notably served as vocal coach for the opera "To be sung" by Pascal Dusapin, presented at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, an experience that confirmed her talent for vocal accompaniment and musical direction.
Ayano has also recorded the album "My Treasure Box," a collection of pieces from her childhood that reflects her musical sensitivity and her attachment to the roots of her artistic journey.

It was alongside Adeline Toniutti that Ayano began her career as a vocal coach. Now one of CALYP's historic accompanists, she is one of the academy's musical pillars. Her approach combines technical rigour and expressiveness, making her an invaluable partner for the singers she accompanies on a daily basis.
Ayano is a Japanese star, one of the most brilliant of her generation. She is a master of her art, taming the piano as I have rarely seen, and drawing from singers the very best they can give through their voices. Ayano is not just a pianist, she embodies rhythm with her whole body through an invisible force that emanates from her singing at the piano.
